About Prairie River Academy
Rigorous, values-rooted homeschool curriculum designed for families who take education seriously.
Prairie River Academy provides supplemental and full homeschool curriculum for K–12 families. We believe in academic rigor, intellectual honesty, moral seriousness, and cultural rootedness— education that helps students think deeply, understand the world as it actually is, and grow into thoughtful, capable adults.
Our curriculum balances traditional subjects with real-world application. We avoid ideological activism, empty filler, and age-inappropriate content. Students engage with authentic texts, real-world problems, and meaningful assessment.
Independent Educational Resource
Prairie River Academy is an independent homeschool resource and supplemental learning platform. We provide curriculum, lessons, assessments, and learning materials for families managing their own education.
Not an Accredited School
Prairie River Academy is not an accredited school, does not grant diplomas, and does not award official transcripts. We do not employ teachers, conduct mandatory testing, or issue legal school credentials.
Parent Responsibility & Local Law
Families using Prairie River Academy are responsible for complying with their local homeschool laws and regulations. Requirements vary by state and country. Parents should verify local notification laws, assessment requirements, and record-keeping standards before enrolling.
Learning Coach Model
Parents serve as learning coaches. We provide the curriculum and tools; families implement the program according to their own pace, values, and local requirements.
Every Prairie River lesson meets strict internal quality standards:
- •Academic rigor aligned to grade-level standards
- •Age-appropriate content and language
- •Authentic texts and real-world application
- •Intellectual honesty and factual accuracy
- •Constitutional neutrality—no ideological coercion
- •Continuous monitoring for quality and appropriateness
We're here to support your homeschool journey. If you have questions about curriculum, pacing, compliance, or content, please reach out through Ask the Learning Coach.
